Stratford Health Department will be providing flu shots to Town of Stratford and Board of Education employees and families on Wednesday, October 12th from 11am to 1 pm in the Nursing Office at the Birdseye Municipal Complex. There will be a public clinic that day from 3 pm to 7 pm. Employees and families are welcome at any public clinics.
The next public clinic is scheduled for Wednesday November 9th from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Baldwin Center. Pneumonia vaccines are also available if needed. Insurances accepted for the flu and pneumonia vaccines include: Medicare Part B, Anthem (BC/BS) and Connecticare. All others will be charged $20.00 for the flu and $45.00 for the pneumonia vaccines, payable by cash or check. If you are unable to attend a town or public clinic, please call Bernice Bova RN at 203-385-4058 to schedule a time to get vaccinated against the flu.
